Post by: DLT on February 14, 2004, 03:23:59 AM
I am looking for any info. about candied salmon.I"ve eaten a sample of it that was bought in British Columbia. When you open the package the fish is moist and has a real sweet and smoky taste. If anybody could help with this topic I would be real thankful.

DLT,

I've seen several recipes called Candied Salmon and they vary. Some are marinated, some are glazed after cooking with rum or maple syrup. There's also a type of smoked salmon called Squaw Candy. Google will give you a whole bunch of hits on this.
