Title: Auber PID sensor questions
Post by: dreys50 on March 29, 2010, 01:16:30 PM
I have an OBS and am going to be mounting my Auber PID sensor. I do not ever use the bottom rack for cooking, generally the 2nd and 3rd racks from the bottom. I understand we want to monitor the temp that the meat is exposed to, so the area underneath- and I plan to mount the sensor between the 1st and second racks up from the bottom.....How close to I want to go to the bottom of rack 2?

I mounted mine just below the rack, so it is not touching the rack and also if I do load the rack below the food will not touch the sensor.
