Post by: bundy on April 25, 2010, 12:31:20 PM
Can someone tell me how to get Beefmanns 900watt heater mod post with the pictures pulled up? Also if someone has did this mod lately, where do you get the heater and fan, or do you need the fan?
Thanks in advance!

Is this the link you were talking about?

I think the fan was needed to keep the heating element from burning out and also to help with the convection heat principle.

I did this mod and used a small fan, and I burned up 2 heaters so I went and did the double stock element instead and that seems to be working fine, not discouraging you but like it says you need to keep a lot of air moving over the 900 watt finned heater.

Have you seen the modification of adding a second element that give you 1000 watts of power? With this setup you don't have to worry about adding a fan. You can always add a fan latter for better heat circulation.
