We had a great time. Stopped at IHOP on the way out of town, and Mrs is doing a bit of retail therapy before the long drive back.
Larry and Jan were gracious hosts, and made us feel right at home.
That's because you were right at home. It was great to finally meet Pat and Rachel and to see Hal and LaDonna again. I just told Jan "I'm glad we don't do THIS every weekend". Had a blast! I have a few pics to add but with Pat being the official videographer I let him do the hard work. I held his beer for him. ;)
As STC mentioned, we kind of hung out with Lenny's team. One day for lunch I decided the BBQ nachos from Lenny's would be good. The pic is below and although bowl looks small, there is at least a half pound of pulled pork in there along with salsa, cheese, chips and jalapenos. Oh, did I mention the price? $2.00 :o

The most frightening part of the whole weekend was Friday night (very early Saturday day morning) we are all over at Lenny's marveling at Lenny's menu sign proclaiming "Smoked Monkey Balls" when I turned around and Hal has his head poked in the open window of a Paducah Police Cruiser. :o He was chatting up one of Paducah's finest. First thing that ran thorugh my mind was "where can I round up enough bail money?" :D :D :D :D Fortunately, we all had had the good sense not to take our refreshing beverages with us from the condo balcony over to Lenny's.

We all did! After MrsD tazered him off of couch, they left the Inn about 45 minutes before we did. (she was behind the wheel of The Bus) We'll see if he checks in later, or just calls the entire day a wash.
We had a great time, and it was a blast finally meeting Larry and Jan. This entire event benefited local charities, and the turnout was huge.

We were able to smuggle some rain coats and glue back to our cell... We dug out w/ spoons and floated across the Ohio river to safety. Fortunately, Illinois doesn't have an extradition agreement with Kentucky.
