I'm looking for a clone of Bad Byron's Butt Rub if anyone as it or would be willing to part with it. I really like this stuff and it helped me and TestRock in our last competition.
FLBR does! ;D

I just got a PM said he didn't, don't worry no big deal the stuff is not to $$$$$ anyway. But would be fun to make some and add or delete as I go.
Not sure about a clone recipe, but I found that the ingredients are the ones listed below.
salt, black pepper, granulated onion, granulated garlic, paprika, chipotle powder (smoked jalapeno), microcrystalline cellulose (a natural anti-caking agent)
No secret reciepts here...
yet.

I will help you with this at the smokeout ;D
I am not sure how accurate this is as I have never tried the BBB rub but this is what I stumbled across. I hope this helps.

Tommy, Jan's Rub blows Byrons out of the water! Try the basic and adjust to your needs. I have Byrons in the cuppoard, a big one getting stale. Use that one good hand and get mixin!!

Jiggerjams,
I think you may have nailed it (more research needed). My guess is what TMB is looking for is a rub with a low sugar content. Sugar burns within the high heat of the SRG and my guess is he is looking for a similar taste in a rub yet low in sugar?
Right or wrong I thought it wouldn't hurt to post it. Thanks for the feedback.
jiggerjams, thanks for the info. TestRocket is close to what I'm doing, the SRG and TBE will kill sugar in just a few min's so lower the amount would be great.
I am glad I could help. I am not sure what SRG and TBE are though. I am thinking BBQ pits or rigs of some sort.
