Hi All,
I am new to the forum and the bradley smoker.
I am doing about a 6.5 b brisket and it has stalled around 165. I knew this happened with pork butt, is this normal with a brisket? It has been about 4 hours now at 165.
Thanks,
John
Yes! Normal and also is a good thing.
Your brisket is doing some magic.
Thanks for such a quick reply. This forum has always been a great read, even better now to participate. And I will take pictures.
Yep.....All is good. I am doing some summer sausage and it stalled at 120 for 3 hours. Thought it would never start climbing again.
Excuse my rudeness!
Welcome to the Forum Johnnyxray!
Welcome!
Yes, get used to the stall...
Butts, Briskets, Chuck Roasts, sticks, sausages, etc.
It's worth it in the end! ;)
In some cases, I consider the stall as "Happy Hour"! ;D
