Title: Sizes of turkey for the Bradley
Post by: Captainslug on December 05, 2010, 11:26:15 PM
I'm thinking of doing a turkey for my daughter's birthday party when the families are over this up coming weekend and I haven't got the bird yet.

Just need some advice on the size of turkeys the Bradley can accommodate. What is the largest turkey for a normal on the back method will fit in the Bradley?  What about on end?

Thanks in advance to all who reply.

I'm not sure about the largest, but I got a 20 pounder sitting up like on a beer can chicken in my six rack.

I'm looking to put in a 12-14 lb turkey.  Will it fit on its back? ???

the 14lb one should fit that way. Just be careful removing it from the smoker, hot juices tend to collect in the cavity.
