Title: Tracking your smoker?
Post by: johnk5555 on December 26, 2010, 12:36:37 PM
Is there any product out there that can track your smoke times and temps? IE some type of Data Logger? Something with WIFI so you can connect to your home PC or smart phone?

Just curious ???

I believe the CryberQ II from BBQ Guru can be made wireless. For and electric smoker you will also have to purchase the Raptor to convert it to controlling an electric heating device.

I'm not sure if you can modify the Stoker for a wireless connection, I don't know of any converters. Here is a link:

The stoker unit can!  You just need to ad an access point to go wireless.  The stoker will also "Tweet" you every houror when there is a alarm.  Stoker can be controlled by smart phones also.
