Hey guys i bought my 6 rack dbs about a month ago and am getting ready to try a pork butt in it and was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good thermometer for internal temp. perferably a wireless one. And has anyone ever made the recipe out of the bradley smoker book and how has it turned out? thanks in advance!

I just got this one and I'm pretty happy with it. It fixes a lot of the problems that people were complaining about on the earlier model.  I got mine from yard and pool, it's a good site and the guys who run site are regulars on this forum.

I also keep a second 2$ instant read thermometer around as a 2nd measurement. I didn't see one on Y&P's website but you can get them at the grocery store. They're about 6" long, and the dial is about 1" in diameter.

I never used the recipes in the bradley book. I just find some rub or recipe here and there and try different things.
