Heres the two i found but not sure if you guys have any that you have experience with!

Brown Sugar Rub
A sweet rub that goes well on brisket. Adjust the heat by adding more or less of the chili powder or by using hot or mild.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup salt (coarse salt works best)
1/3 cup paprika
1/3 cup chili powder
1/3 cup ground black pepper

Preparation:
Combine ingredients and pack firmly around brisket 12-24 hours before smoking. Wrap in plastic wrap or place in a large plastic bag.

Simple Sweet Rub
A sweet dry rub that's excellent on pork, especially pork butt that will be shredded.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup paprika
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne

Mix ingedients together well, rub generously on the pork butt.

The simple sweet rub sounds good IMHO.

The brown sugar rub has the same amount of salt as brown sugar ??? The salt and sugar sort of cancel each other out so I imagine it will not be very sweet :)

When it comes to brisket and pork, because they have to cook so long, I've never had sugar make it sweet. The more sugar the greater the bark, but I would not describe it as sweet the bark as sweet. But you can always add more sugar, and you may pick up a sweet taste.

Here is the recipe for Mr. Brown for Smoke & Spice
•1/4 cup Black Pepper, fresh cracked
•1/4 cup Paprika
•1 /4 cup Turbinado Sugar or Brown Sugar
•2 Tbsp. Salt, Kosher
•2 tsp. Mustard, dry
•1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
(Makes enough for one 6 - 8 lb. Boston Butt)

Cut back on the black pepper and cayenne pepper for less heat.
