Title: Carolina Treat
Post by: zueth on July 19, 2011, 11:16:04 AM
How do you guys use this BBQ sauce.  It is my understanding it is designed to be cooked with and not added to food after cooking.

I mix it into the sausage when I make a fatty, have also finished chicken with it on the grill.
it can be used both ways.

Yep,,,,,,, its a cooking sauce, not a dipping sauce.

Just applie it to whatever your cooking before you put it in the smoker.

I've had it on ribs, brisket, butt, chicken, turkey, hack I've even put it on peanuts.  ;D

I use it as a slather/glue before I put the rub on Chicken, Turkey Boulders and Ribs..

Also mix it in with meatloaf (and lightly coat the outside) for some added zip.

Ditto, Ditto!, if there is such a thing.

I also added some to my moink balls before wrapping them.  Thinking about it, I need to order more.

I marinate chicken with it for 4-5 hours before it goes in the smoker. Put it under and on the skin. Not too hot (my better half doesn't like hot) , just a mild kick.
