I received my 4 rack DS from Amazon in the end of July 2011 and it worked great three times. Was smoking a Boston Butt and it quite 5.5 hours in to the cook?

Is there a bad batch? or have other been running in to this aggravating issue

There was a bad batch of elements that Bradley has identified and remedied. Unfortunately there are still bad elements out there in existing units. Give Bradley a call and they will send you out a new one ;D
