Title: Nice parcel in the mail today ;)
Post by: EDinNB on August 26, 2011, 02:37:10 PM
My friend from Canyon Lake TX sent me a 12oz bottle of Saltlick Original and a 12oz bottle of Saltlick Garlic dry rubs. Now I need to decide what to try 'em on first. Regardless, it is gonna be some good ;)

I brought a (1) bottle to the MWSO for Nepas.

It was all the store had. When I go back I'll pick up a bottle and send it on to ya.

Thx!  I wander if it is just Salt Lick, but with an equal amount of Garlic powder instead of the 1/3rd ratio..

EDinNB, I use Salt Lick (rather,  a clone) on pork butts and the results are fantastic.  Give it a shot.

Mike, I get it at HEB in Houston.

Might have to look on the bottom row of the seasoning/spice section.

But they don't sell it at the HEB here in my town.

These came from HEB in Wimberly, but they would have gone to Driftwood and got them at the originasl restaurant if HEB didn't have them.
