Title: Hello from KY - already a question on 10+ hour smokes

Hello all,

Just got my digital 4-rack seasoned and want to start with a brisket.  This is a long smoke and I find 9:40 to be the max oven time on the digital controller.  Does this mean I simply need to get my tail up and restart for the remainder of cooking or is there a workaround?  Thanks!

There's no work around unless you buy a pid to go with your Bradley.

a pid simply put  is a digital temperature controller that controls the  heating  element from auber  instruments

Ya the work around is called a wife  ;D  Just roll over and accidentally push out of bed. Then say since your up hun can you reset the DBS and go back to sleep

KyNola, I'm a UK fan suffering in Louisville during football and looking forward to basketball.  Devo, using my wife as a workaround would result in smoked husband!  ;D

Hmmm - In my house that would be called either "future ex-wife' or "Lorena Bobbitt copycat" depending how quick my reflexes were at the time.
