Post by: Oldman on May 12, 2004, 05:02:57 AM
Ok I check on the BB today. Smells ok, but is very slick to touch. Plus I don't seem to hardly any liquid...

Suggestion...thoughts?

Olds, How many days has it been? I don't think the amount of liquid is of any importance. At least nothing is mentioned in the directions(like make sure they stay in the liquid).I say leave them be until their day of reckoning![:)]

Olds,

I have experienced it both ways, alot of and hardly any liquid. If the meat is smelling ok, I am sure it is fine.  The meat should start firming up quite abit, that is the biggest change in the meat that I have noticed.
