Title: Breakfast Fatty
Post by: zueth on November 08, 2011, 04:12:03 PM
I want to make a breakfast fatty on a Saturday, then warm it up in the oven on Sunday AM.

I am thinking this should work, just cook fully then let rest and put in refrigerate.  Then Sunday AM pull out and put in 350 oven until IT of 160.

I am thinking sausage, eggs, hash browns, onions, peppers, and cheese.

What are your thoughts?

Excellent idea (although I'm off hash browns for a while).  I'd probably foil it and reheat at a lower temp, but that shouldn't be a big deal.  Go for it!

You might not like the SW taste.  But breakfast fatties with eggs, chorizo, jalapeno, cheese and as an option Tater Tot Crowns (already crisped up) tend to get inhaled by my fly fishing buddies.  Throw in a green onion if so inclined.  I've probably made 50  of them in the last 3 years (usually with other varieties) and they are always the first to go.  I usually just heat up in the microwave.  If heating in the oven, I would probably wrap in foil and then heat.
