Just got this to monitor PID. Works great. Now let's say the pid throws an alarm and starts buzzing away and I am sitting in my cozy warm house. Now I can hear it no prob. I can also hear the puck advance so I know that's working as it should.

I have used one for a number of years and they do work very well. I originally got one because I have so many toyools in my detached garage and I wanted to know if someone was helping themselves during the night. I can even hear people walking by outside the garage. I keep the receiver on my night table beside the bed.
