Never heard of using it, but if Budweiser uses it, it can't be bad!

Interesting Q . . . not only have I never seen Beech wood in any store or website I've ever been in/on, but I've never seen it on any wood smoke flavor list, either. Must be a reason . . .

Chris, is your sig line supposed to be a take off on "Keep on rockin' in the real world"? If so, is the WORD a typo or is it something else that I don't get? Just wondering . . .

Hi Chris. Are you talking about drift wood like the stuff that washes up on the beach or is there a wood actually called beech? If it's drift wood I tried some smoked salmon that the natives did up in Nome made with drift wood a few years back and I still can't get the bad taste out of my mouth.[xx(] Let me know. I'm real curious about this one. Thanks
Big or small you can smoke'm all!!!
Beechwood is an actual wood species

We see some American Beech up where I am at in the woods. It has some very interesting fruit and stamen.
I have seen online that it has been used for smoking. And it is a good companion with Beer.
The most common use is in furniture and flooring.
I really have to watch out on this forum because I'm learning way to much neat stuff.[:D]Thanks for the info. I'll have to try some if I ever come across it.
quote:
