For my all time favorite rib rub:

http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/rib1.html (http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/rib1.html)
Scroll about halfway down the page.
I usually add 3 tbsp of my own smoked ground chiles to this.  The Accent is totally optional but I use it most times.

For everything else I use the Jan's Rub recipe above.  I use it on ribs too!

So far I love  Bad Byron's butt rub.  It even help me take 4th over all in a BBQ comp with my SRG's.

I keep reading about Jan's rub and I must try it.  If it's half as good as everyone says it's got to be good stuff.

I never heard of Head Country or Zach's Hickory RUb  so I can't say anything about them but would love to try them.

I like Jans Rub and if you want a good sauce then shacks goes great with it. It's also a make your own type so you can tweak to your taste. I have to cut back on the Black pepper for most my cooks but I like it the way it is.
