Title: Turkey Boulder Question
Post by: zueth on January 30, 2012, 03:13:43 PM
I smoked up a Butterball Turkey boulder from Costco and it turned out great.  I have it all sliced up and in ziploc in the fridge right now.  How long will it stay good in the fridge?  Do I need to vaccum pack and freeze what I don't think we will eat in the next couple of weeks?

Man does it make great sandwiches, I don't think I will be buy store bought Turkey meat anymore.

Turkey dont last long in the fridge, a week tops.

I would place what you think youll eat in a week in the Ziploc then vac seal the rest and freeze.

Ditto!  7 days...     Toss on #8 if there is any left.
