Title: Help! Briquette advancer gone nuts!
Post by: Biophilia on September 28, 2003, 09:53:50 PM
My briquette advancer has gone nuts!  I pushed the button while it was off and it got stuck in flush with the box and won't pop back out.  It is just continually feeding the pucks!

Jee whiz.  Am I doing something wrong or is this thing broken?

Best fishes,

Seems to be a bit of a problem with them, mine did a similar thing when i first got it, sent a whole pack of fuel into the water pot, Bradley and Canadian replaced the unit no questions asked, impressed,  now i have a similar problem starting lots of clicks and whirring no fuel advancement, have cleaned the unit religiously after each use , no difference, the annoying part is that it will work fine for a few hours then screw up, then work fine again,
will have to get back to Can Tire and see what they say i guess.

I've had this problem before also. I just gave little squirt of wd-40 on the button and it worked fine.
