Title: Excalibur BBQ snack stick seasoning
Post by: theLDP on February 12, 2012, 04:05:15 PM
I have had some BBQ venison sticks from a local locker and thought they were amazing.  So I decided to make my own.  I went to a meat packing company in the area and purchased Excalibur BBQ snack stick seasoning and some high temp cheddar.  The seasoning is made in Pekin,IL, close to where I live.  Here is a pic....

I made 5 pounds of sticks using ground deer meat with beef added.  It turned out to be the same stuff that the locker used and was amazing.

I highly recommend this seasoning if you like BBQ flavor.  I added some cayanne for a little heat.

Very nice indeed.  I need to find me something other than LEM. I made some with it and they were a hit buy would love to try other flavors. BBQ sure does sound good.
