Title: BEEF RIBS
Post by: oehlingr on February 17, 2006, 05:14:56 PM
Just got my BS, and have yet to turn it on.  Had to have knee surgery the day I got it and still laid up.  I got two racks of beef ribs out to thaw and want to cook them up Sunday.  I have never smoked before and am drooling just thinking about them. Need advice on prepping the smoker and the ribs.  I have maple and hickory bisquits and many rubs ranging from cajun to a nice  southern chxn rub.  Also, I am looking at smoking a whole chxn next Friday.

Welcome Oehlingr!

I won't get to long winded here as the info you're lookong for is posted elsewhere in the forum. Lots of good advice in here. The best I can give is to take a good look around and you'll be amazed at the ideas you find! Pick something that sounds good and give it a shot.
