Title: Two pucks on the hotplate at the same time.
Post by: OldHoss on November 16, 2012, 01:34:09 PM
I have looked at a number of posts dealing with puck advancement problems but cannot seem to find anyone with my issue.

I have two pucks on the burn plate at the same time.  Seen it a number of times when I open the door to do something and now think this has been happening on and off for awhile now.  I do not have a picture but what it looks like is the fouth puck - the one that should be in the water - is 3/4's off the plate in midair.  I know I am getting undesirable smoke from this.

What do I do guys?

Check the track the "shuttle" plate glides on, and make sure it is clean. If there is any built up debris the shuttle will retract before it fully completes its cycle. Also check to for any scrape marks, to see if the shuttle is hitting the rails. If you see any, you will have to adjust the realign.
