Title: Adding a Spiral ham to the Smoked Turkey
Post by: DBWCigar on December 25, 2012, 07:18:31 AM
Merry Christmas SMokers..

I have the turkey going now and will smoke for about another 3 hours.. then finish it without smoke for another 4 hours if it doesn't finish prior..

Question:  At what point would I add the Ham to the turkey to cook it and finish around the same time?

Smoker is currently set to 220 degrees and holding pretty well since it's 60 degrees outside today..

UPDATE: well I decided to add it with two hours remaining on the turkey smoke.. I plan to wrap it with foil after that and just leave in the smoker till the turkey reaches 170 degrees..

Thoughts/opinions????

Thanks
Dave
