Title: How do I plug the 611 into a Duel Probe AUBER PID
Post by: jburdt on April 07, 2013, 02:33:51 PM
Do I connect the smoker directly to the Auber PID or do I still Plug it into the SG and just plug the power cord from the SG into the PID?  Also do I need to put the temp setting on the SG to the highest lever or where do I set it to? Also I noticed somewhere that this unit turns off after 9:40 is this true? Also what I am trying to do is set up for overnight smokes to keep the same inside temp all night even though the outside temp may have big swings, so if I just want it to stay at one temp for the entire smoke do I still need to program all 6 cycles or what is the correct setting if I just for example wanted to keep the cabinet temp at 225 until the meat reached 200. Any help would be great.
Thanks

it should be labled on the back... if not , plug the tower into the auber pid and smoke generator into a  separate full time power outlet the pid then will controll the  temp of the box for you

That makes sense since I only need it to control heat and not the sg. Thanks
