Title: 4 - 7 lb chickens, how long?
Post by: smokeyzx on May 10, 2014, 06:32:24 PM
I'm cooking 4 - 7 lb chickens for a mothers day party tomorrow. How long ish will they have to cook? I'm planning on 250 degrees if it matters...

Two hours in and internal temp is 107 degrees. This is going to be done way too early. lol

It doesn't look like I can post pictures yet.

The smoker won't go above 212 degrees even though it's 71 out with no wind.

Internal temp only 138 after 5:45 of cooking. Any help would be appreciated.

They should be long done.  I would suggest finishing them in the oven since you have a party soon and then we can work on fixing any problems.
