Now your Smoking!! You will love it, it won't be done as quick as the BCS but it will do a ton more food and recipes.

Is there a performance difference between the BS611 and the BTIS1, or is the former a more modern version of the latter?

I noticed the BTIS1 doesn't seem to be on too many store shelves anymore.

Same 500W cooking element and same 125W puck burner.  The main difference is on the new one the heat control is on the SG instead of a slider at the bottom of the tower..

Congrats!!!  I'm getting ready to hit the "bookmark" button!!  Let's see...smoked eggs, bacon, cheeses, bacon, ribs, bacon, whole turkey, bacon.  The list goes on.

That's what I kind of thought. Thanks for the clarification!
