Used a maple rub we just bought while on vacation in the U.P.  Turned out really well.

It tasted fantastic. Froze one slab of ribs for later and made pulled chicken and chicken salad with the leftover chicken.

just bought the smoker and trying to learn.  Those do look great.  I used mine yesterday tasted OK, but wasn't overly impressed with the sauce I used and the mess it made.  When you cooked yours did you have the tin foil on the racks while cooking?

That would have helped with the mess.

Thanks

Hey Brooks,

You should look into a set of Frog mats if your concerned with mess, they are a mesh non stick insert for your racks.  They really make clean up much easier no matter what you are making and they wont disrupt air flow like a solid piece of aluminum foil will.  A number of people on the forum use them.

Cheers
