Title: Bruschetta
Post by: OldHickory on August 23, 2014, 03:26:36 PM
Ms. Hickory took some of my sour dough bread, thin sliced and lightly toasted it.  Then a spread of basil pesto and olive oil topped with provolone cheese and did a light melt.  This with a glass of good red wine is outstanding.  No way could I eat just one.

The classic version has a thin slice of tomato included, but we like this version better.

That's a good looking snack and the serving tray is pretty cool looking to.
