Title: Peterson Smoking Pucks
Post by: irish_smoker on September 17, 2014, 08:17:15 AM
Has anyone tried these?  The video shows the guys using them in a Bradley and it appears you only use a fraction of the pucks.  Just curious, might not be a bad thing to have on hand in case your puck advance ever failed and you were in the middle of a smoke.

There are several threads that talk about them.  Do a search for "peterson".  When the Bradley bisquettes were in short supply I experimented with a pellet tube smoker.  I liked the results and stayed with it.  One 20# $15 bag of pellets lasts me over a year.

These seem to burn into the ash stage. This is when the acrid flavor and carcinogens come out of the woods. I grew up with that acrid taste and after having a Bradley I will never go back to it.
