Title: No bisquettes at Cabellas
Post by: renoman on January 26, 2015, 03:48:43 PM
Stopped at Cabella's today and noticed that they had no bisquettes. None at all. Didn't have time to ask why but they were my main source.

is there a Canadian tire near you?   I usually go there. They don't stock all types but the usual 4 or 5 flavours are always in stock, even during winter.

Not sure what part of town you are in but Barbecue Country usually has a good selection, haven't checked in a while though.

I'm a lucky guy. I have a neighbor that has worked at Cabela's for about 8 years now and gets the highest employee discount they offer. My bisquettes are CHEAP. :)

Yes I am in Halfords often to buy my pellets and casings but the price was always the same as Cabella's and I drive by Cabella's on a daily basis. I am now wondering if they may be dropping Bradley altogether. They had a huge display of Mastercraft smokers and only what looked like leftovers of some Bradley smokers off to the side display where they have not been before. Canadian Tire is hit and miss for Bradley pucks.

Renoman has a point, a lot of bradley stuff incl. pucks are showing backorderable online. Maybe they're clearing inventory.   I hope I'm wrong and there's just an increase in bradley owners.... :p

This of course begs the question, if there ate no pucks what method can I use for using regular chips?

I just checked Cabela's online.  Maybe they were out at one time but it appears that they now have plenty of bisquettes in stock now.  Amazon also sells them.

Do you have Princess Auto in Alberta?

They carry a good supply of Bradley bisquettes here in Ontario.
