Title: Does this sound OK for smoked/roasted turkey?
Post by: WoodlawnSmoker on October 10, 2015, 10:19:22 AM
Hey folks, it's Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.  I plan to brine the 13 pound turkey for about 16 hours.  Next, my plan is to smoke with pecan in the Bradley at 220 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.  After that I will finish in the oven at 325 degrees while I watch hockey and football.

Does this plan sound ok to everyone, anything I'm missing?  Thanks.

That sounds like a great plan. I usually like a little more smoke on mine but that's personal preference and your better of starting light than too much.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mike
