Title: Smoke generator not generating heat.
Post by: axman26 on March 27, 2016, 03:06:40 PM
Got the 4 rack digital smoker for Christmas.  Worked great the first 2 times but now the smoke generator will not heat up.  It is not heating the bisquettes or generating any smoke.  It appears to be working with no error message and the heating element in the oven is working fine.  Should I call Bradley?

Thanks.

did you  let the  puck burner heat up for 30 minutes prior to use?,,, if you  did not .. it  will take longer befor it  starts to produce  smoke,

if it is cold, then one of two items has happened,,, puck burner went bad, or a bad connection to the  puck burner,,, open up the smoke generator and  look for any  connections that may  have came loose,,, reattach and try again...

if nothing appears to be  loose call bradley,, they have good customer service

First, hi and welcome aboard.

On the smoke generator problem, I would suggest taking it apart and check all wiring for a loose connection.  The link below describes how to remove the cover.
