Title: bacon cure recipe

hey guys, gettin to be that time of year again..... i am going to make a bunch of back bacon this weekend but i have a problem.


last time i made it i copied the recipe from the susan miner site to make my own cure, i have a bunch of this already made up but i dont remember what its make up was or how much i was supposed t ouse per pound. whats the chances anybody can post that recipe?

If it is the "Basic Dry Cure" recipe, it measures the same as Morton Tender Quick. For whole muscle meat you use 1 Tablespoon per pound. In sausage you would use 1.5 Teaspoons per pound.

If it is some other recipe let us know what recipe you are referring to.
