Title: 10 lb shoulder
Post by: alucard75 on November 12, 2016, 05:32:18 AM
I put the shoulder in last night at 8:00 pm all is well, woke up and tower was at 150 degree, turn up the heat a little now it's at 210.  Hopefully it should be done soon...it smells so good! Can't wait!

12 hours later the tower was only at 150?  Turned it up a little and now it is at 210?  What are you using to measure your tower temperature?  Those temperatures don't sound right.  Almost sounds like your heating element wasn't working until you "turned it up a little".

It was only six hours later...I think because it got down to 29 last night it cooled it down.  I'm using a dual probe take the temp.  Now the internal temp is 170, and the tower temp is 220.
