Title: Bisquit Advance
Post by: rjnsam on December 01, 2016, 10:15:40 PM
Good evening all.  I am new to this site and hope I am posting this in the right spot.  I have an entry level 4 rack smoker.  It has worked well but the Bisquit Advance has stopped working.  After opening the box I noticed there is a white module on the bottom.  It has a red light that flashes 4 times, pauses and then repeats.  Any idea what this code means?  Also what is the best way to diagnose the Advance?  Usually the switch or the motor?  Thanks for any thoughts!

When you say it stopped working, do you mean the motor doesn't run at all, or the motor is attempting to advance the bisquettes, but can not?

I'm not sure what that white module with the light is indicating. When you had the generator opened did you look for any loose wires, or anything that could be blocking the motor arm.
