Title: Overnight smoke, smoker got real cold but readout says it was at temp
Post by: rib-a-lation on December 24, 2016, 12:43:15 PM
Cooked a brisket last night, everything was running perfect for the first 8 hours.  However, when I woke up and checked on the brisket, internal meat temp was down to 150.  I checked the smoker readout and it said the cooker was at 245.  When I opened the cooker, it was obviously low 100's.
After I reset the cook time and temp, I got a correct reading from the unit, 135 degrees, and it started to heat back up.
Seems like a software glitch.  Anyone else have this happen?

The oven timer does not go over 9h40min. At least, that is what it said into the manual.

Yeah, I added more time midway through the cook, so it still had time on the clock
