Title: Digital smoker advances one bisquette after another
Post by: Coastaldog on February 27, 2017, 03:31:10 PM
I have a two year old 4 rack digital smoker. It wants to continually advance pucks after it starts the first sequence, pushing them all into the bowl. Any ideas on how to fix this problem.

Costaldog, others on here may have more knowledge on your issue but I would say a cleaning may be in order. Those parts can be fussy when the simplest little thing gets in there.

The link below may help.  It is from the archives section of the old user recipe site. Scroll down a bit once there to find that specific question.

Why are the bisquettes continuously feeding, and just being dumped into the water bowl? (https://web.archive.org/web/20160421040928/http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?488-Answers-To-Bradley-Smoker-FAQ-s&s=27355d291b3ac8fde8a623a4b08f01a6&p=988)

Thanks for the link to the info. I will clean out the generator, also getting an E message occasionally so I suspect it may be a faulty micro switch. Reversing the small sensor cable seemed to help but it is re occurring.

Here's some info on the E error message.  The specific discussion is at the bottom of the FAQ on the link below.

What is an "E" message? (https://web.archive.org/web/20160420071753/http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?488-Answers-To-Bradley-Smoker-FAQ-s&s=c05061c4f8c8cd0a6544728929c5b0d2&p=839)
