Title: Have they fixed the issues of the Smart smoker?

All-
It is now January 2018, and I have not seen anyone post on getting one of these in late 2017, so, wondered if they are still having the same issues as what was posted on the earlier threads?
Anyone have any updated info on them?  Anyone purchase in 2017?  It would seem that with the beginning problems, they would have tweaked things and entered the newer designs addressing everyone's issues into the production.

I've  owned a Bradley for over 7 years.  I bought the new I smoke because I liked the idea of smart phone useability. 
1.  issue one Smartphone:  you get alerts if you move the phone 10 ft away, so that means Bluetooth capabilities are useless.
2. feeder does stick every so often.

Here's how I overcome my issues;

set temp, set smoke, hit start, now hit the lock on screen top... Now at least I get the temp and smoke I want for the time I want.  If I only had the smart feature I paid for.......
