Title: Heating element
Post by: Colinj on February 19, 2018, 02:06:13 PM
Hello all. I am new to the Bradley smoker and love it so far. I have only cold smoked so far and recently tried to make a batch of jerky. My heating element would not warm the smoker over 100 degrees and sat for 25 min on high. Element was not even close to glowing red. I live in Canada and upon closer inspection seen 240 volts  500 watts on the heating element. Did I receive a European element or is this correct for north American voltage? The bisquets burner and smoker have the stickers with 120 volts clearly marked on it.

If the element is marked as 240 volts it's the wrong one for Canada, Call Bradley
