Title: New Smoker in Calgary!
Post by: Oder4u on February 28, 2018, 05:55:32 PM
Hello Smokers!

So glad to be a part of the life style. I just bought my 1st smoker. It's a second hand 6 rack digital Bradley. Going to be doing my 1st smoke this weekend and i'm drooling already. Throwing in some Beef Short Ribs and some Pork Side Ribs. I've heard that you should fill all the racks to make use of all the smoke from the biscuits and am wondering if anyone has some ideas on what else to put in there that isn't meat. Would love any suggestions on  the meat or the extras. Rubs?

Thanks and HI!

Welcome aboard.

You don't have to put something on every rack.  In fact, if you do so the cooking chamber will struggle to get up to the setpoint, especially during the winter in Calgary.
