Hello everybody. I'm new at this electric smoker thing. I've always been old school. Using actual wood. Probably cause i live near woods and it's always been readily available to me. Anyways, my question is have any of you ever tried to put beer in the water bowl instead of water? I ask because i also use an orion cooker and put beer in the bottom rather than water and it comes out awesome. Any feedback is welcome, so please let me know.

Welcome to the forum.
I have never done this, but many members have used various juices (mostly apple juice), and have reported good results. If you are doing a long cook, in which you need to change the water bowl a few times, a small pan of beer or juice on the bottom rack will also work, and save you some beer for drinking. :)
