Title: Mold in Smoker
Post by: GABJR on August 28, 2018, 09:35:15 AM
I have been sick & it has been a month since I used my bradley.
Opened it up yesterday to get ready for the weekend & there was mold on the inside.
I have never had this happen before.
Any thoughts on why this happened & how to safely clean ?

Black mold?  I would think bleach mixed 10% 0r 15% with water then wash out after with mild soap and water let dry real well then reseason should work

Did you leave the water bowl filled in it when you cooked last?

That might have been the issue, I was smoking a ham & got the dreaded error message, took the ham to the oven to finish, was frustrated & did not clean up.

I also leave my vent open all the way and remove my smoke gen when not in use.   I keep mine in the shed till I'm ready to cook
