Title: More Smart Smoker issues
Post by: hwells on September 16, 2018, 04:13:53 PM
So I got mine earlier this year. According to the info screen, it has smoked for 63 hours with 46 alarms. They've all been bisquette feed jams. This cannot be normal. I have to babysit this thing more than if I was using a normal smoker. I have emailed Bradley about it, just waiting for a reply. Good thing is, everything that I've smoked in it has come out wonderful.

Welcome to the forum hwells. Sorry to hear you're having issues with your smoker, but contacting Bradley was the right thing to do. Their service and help has always been first rate for me and others here. Can't help you with your issue since I don't own a Smart Smoker, but was just wondering if the chute that holds your bisquettes is in correctly and straight? Others have had issues with bisquetts jamming and it was often the chute that was misaligned and jamming at the base causing the bisquettes to jam and not advance. Not sure if that's any help but give it a quick look, maybe???
