Title: Puck crumbs and smoking gun....
Post by: irish_smoker on November 11, 2018, 08:30:06 AM
So I recently received a Smoking Gun to add some subtle smoke to cocktails and food, I was wondering if anyone has ever used the wood "crumbs" from the Bradley wood packages in the smoking chamber of the gun?  Seems like I always have some small pieces of pucks in the containers that just get tossed out, thought I would see if anyone else has ever used them for this purpose.

Thanks!

I have a Smoking Gun. It should work, the Bradley wood crumbs are a little finer than the Smoking Chips sold with the Smoking Gun, and they may burn much faster. I would just load them in lightly, and avoid packing them.

I never thought of using the Bradley loose wood for my Smoking Gun, I would save them, put them in a smoking box, and use that in my gas grill. I'm going to try them in my Smoking Gun, the next time I use it.
