Title: MACERICK ET-733 HELP
Post by: Jim O on September 07, 2019, 07:22:12 AM
Just put in some Canadian (peameal) bacon and put my ET 733 to work.
One probe is to monitor over temp the other to monitor IT. The oven probe is OK , but the IT probe registers the same as the over temp probe. I've changed batteries in both units and changed the IT probe to an older probe from an earlier Maverick. Still the same . Any ideas ?

Sorry Jim. I don't have a clue what could be causing this. I know this response is late, but reverse the probes, ie. place the food probe in the pit socket, and the pit probe in the food socket. Insert the food probe into a large raw potato, and place both probes into the cabinet, and turn on the Bradley. If you get different temperature readings, this may indicate that the food socket is bad, or maybe there is a problem with the circuit board that is causing a malfunction.

By the way what were the temperature readings?

Thanx for the reply. The oven was set for 210 and both probes read 180 - 210 at the same time.
