Update:
Plane from Ontario CA to Phoenix AZ 3:45 p.m. - nice flight although somewhat bouncy as always into that airport. caught the connecting flight - bad winds - turn plane around, other end of runway....sit 57 minutes with very high winds - leave 1 hour late...bounce all the way to Denver - turns out worst thunderstorms/flooding they've had in 3 years! Arrive late, sit on taxiway until other plane leaves our gate...get luggage, get shuttle - arrive hotel midnight (8 hours??? sheesh!) Get up yesterday (Thursday)shower/shave/iron put on the fancy duds...interview 5 full hours back to back with 5 different guys - holy cra@!...Leave Denver, arrive Phoenix on time - connecting plane late (storm from Denver had moved to Ohio)coming in...leave an hour late....got home last night at 10.....
I feel the interview went extremely well and hope to hear back within the next week or two but I just recently found out my regional vice president gave me a good recommendation so it sounds like I'm a shoe-in - just waiting for the formal yay or nay..........

Not yet but I was told "you don't need to worry about it" - they still have two more interviews with other people...I was told to expect a phone call next week or the week after at the latest...but it sounds better than 99% that I have it...now I just gotta sit and wait out the formal offer....................

Fuzzball made a phone call at 4:30pst today...the RVP called back and said "I was going to call you tomorrow, but you're persistent and I like that" "We'd like to offer the position to you"....
Fuzzy took the job...sometime between now and 01 Nov 2004, Fuzzy will be living in his new home in Spokane!
Thanks to everyone on this site who've listented to me and supported me on this endeavor my wife and I have been on for the past 5 years...
I will be traveling extensively over the next month between Hartford CT, Denver CO starting the 20th of Sept.

Guys: I work in the insurance biz (Old's, I hope you get your repair money - bummer on the deductible though..)
This has been a 10 year plan for me and my wife...bought the land 3 years ago, starting building this year (May) for an ultimate retirement home...was going to be a vacation home till I got a transfer which came in faster than I thought...we sold our "California" home and took all the profits to build this one and have a relatively small mortgage..it's small at 1565 square feet but it's just fine for me and the missus and two doggies!
Whitetail: Targets are: moose/elk/whitetail/muley's/turkey - just don't hit the neighbors (1000 feet away) with that high powered stuff!

Fuzzybear, Just recently joined the forum. I have been frequenting this sight since I bought a smoke generator a couple months ago, and am currently building a smokehouse. It has been interesting and informative to read various posts on smoking etc. I have smoked some over the years, but never real serious. Can't wait to get my smoker up and running and try some of the recipes I've seen on this site!
Oh by the way, I live and work in Spokane and have lived in the area my whole life. It's a great place to live, great hunting and fishing. Been to Chattaroy many times. Looks like you have a great place. Welcome to Washington!
