Title: Another First Smoke
Post by: ke4d on January 09, 2007, 06:14:12 PM
We smoked our first meal today.  A couple of Cornish Game Hens.  Did one with a commercial rub and another with a garlic/butter/EVO mix from the OBS recipes.  Both came out just great. Moist, browned well on the outside and very tasty.
This weekend, we are smoking a Turkey for some friends.  Maybe a brisket next week!

Welcome to the forum.  Cornish hens hmmmmmm, have not had one in a long time and have never smoked one.  Did the skin get rubbery like chicken?
