Title: Bisquit advance missfiring
Post by: wenbro on September 17, 2004, 09:56:04 PM
Have had my bradley for a while now and has worked great till a while back. Now my bisquit feeder is missfiring. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, sometimes it will work perfectley for hours and no probs and other times I have to advance all the bisquits by myself. When it misfires it is NOT a bisquit hanging up or anything because NOTHING at all happens automatically. So I have to check to see every 20 mins if it has advanced a bisquit or if I have to do it manually. Am a bit worried about it though because when the bisquits DONT advance the bisquits waiting burning begin to burn back towards the feedtube. Dont think it would be a good thing if they started burning back and reached the feedtube. MELTDOWN! Anyways, purchased this bradley at PEAVEY MART in Alberta. How do I go about getting a replacement generator? Thanks!

If you bought it less than a year ago, no problem, just call Bradley & they'll get you fixed up.

Have you ever taken the generator apart to clean it? A whole lot of wood flakes & creosote stuff can build up in there & make it malfunction. Just turn it upside down & shake it & see how much comes out. There's plenty more where that came from.

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?
